It’s clear that the Toronto market is now climbing up the other side of the valley. Since January the average resale price in Toronto is up 14% and there is persistent competition across all housing types, particularly in the freehold market. Sellers who were reluctant to sell in a down market should have the confidence to get their homes on the market. Hopefully, this will bring in more supply to prop up inventories.
