Our West End Roots
Jordan Rasberry was born and raised in the West Toronto area of Etobicoke, in a close-knit community where everyone in the neighbourhood knew each other. Now that he’s raising his own family, he’s focused on building up the same type of spirit in his current home of Brockton Village, and the west end.
Building Up Brockton Village
What’s not to love about this neighbourhood? From the people, to the places, to the peacefulness, Brockton Village is an ideal West Toronto community to plant roots.
Community connection
Though it’s in the middle of the city, Brockton Village has a small-town atmosphere that is incredibly welcoming to families. You don’t have to sacrifice the amenities or convenience of urban life: Brockton Village is walking distance to amazing cafes and bakeries on Roncesvalles, excellent restaurants on Dundas Street West, and endless shopping options along Queen Street West.
Family-friendly
There are top-notch schools in the area, so you don’t have to worry about long morning commutes. McCormick Park features an indoor ice rink, pool, gym, community centre, community spaces, baseball diamond, basketball court, and playground, so your kids will love it here, too.
Safe and sound
Brockton Village is bordered by railway tracks on three sides, meaning there isn’t a lot of passing-through traffic, and you can feel peace of mind that your kids are safe.
